- The Supima® Cotton Boyshort: A premium blend of ultra-soft U.S. grown cotton undies perfect for everyday comfort.
- ECO Rx™ Thongs: ECO Rx™ is made of 95% TENCEL™ x REFIBRA™ and 5% spandex. TENCEL™ with REFIBRA™ technology incorporates pre- and post-consumer cotton textile waste and TENCEL™ Lyocell made out of wood pulp from sustainably managed forests. The waistbands are made of 85% REPREVE® Nylon created from post-industrial nylon fiber waste diverted from landfills.

Say goodbye to wasteful practices when it comes to your underwear. At Hanky Panky, we are dedicated to finding sustainable solutions for lingerie that often ends up in landfills. That's why we launched our Lingeriecycle® program in 2018. Through this initiative, we partner with Green Tree, a nonprofit organization devoted to preventing post-consumer textile waste from polluting our environment.
Bras and panties are recycled, with fibers from these garments transformed into industrial insulation after separating any metal or plastic components for further recycling.
But our commitment to waste reduction doesn't stop there. We also make a conscious effort in our manufacturing process by sending textile waste to Green Tree for recycling into insulation.
Some of our sustainable underwear is crafted with materials that meet high standards of environmental responsibility including Supima® cotton. Supima® cotton fibers are responsibly grown in the Southwest USA under the CottonLEADS℠ sustainability initiative, ensuring a smaller environmental impact compared to many imported cottons. Our cotton knit fabrics are knitted, dyed, and finished on the east coast using low-impact, non-toxic fiber reactive dyes. The Signature Lace used in our designs is knitted, dyed, and finished in the USA with low impact dyes.
In addition, we prioritize responsibly-managed renewable wood sources (FSC® and PEFC®) for fabrics such as heather jersey, TENCEL™, and viscose rayon. These materials align with our commitment to sustainability. You can also find fabrics made with Oeko-Tex® 100 Certified yarns, ensuring they are free of harmful substances. We take pride in never utilizing flocked fabrics prone to shedding fibers, and we completely avoid using fur, feathers, wool, or leather in any of our designs.
Our dedication to sustainability extends to our packaging as well. From our signature rolled thongs designed to reduce wasteful materials to joining prAna's Responsible Packaging Movement, we make environmentally mindful decisions. We have committed to using Emerald™ tree-free paper made from agricultural waste or FSC paper for boxes. Furthermore, we are actively transitioning to fully sustainable or recycled pulp sources for hangtags and adopting biodegradable hang tag attachments. As part of our goal to minimize environmental impact, we are phasing out metallic foil printing on product packaging.
